Alisa Javits is a visual artist and creative film director based in Helsinki. Most of her productions explore the experiences of human existence in this world and the contradictory emotions it often brings. Her work addresses themes such as fear, love, loneliness, and uncertainty.

Alisa focuses on lens-based and graphical imagery, installation and writing. She values content and expressive freedom in her work, as well as collaboration with a diverse range of people. Alisa's pieces are characterized by profound content and visual versatility.

Her background includes a visual arts education from Stockholm University and a degree in photography from Aalto University. She holds her own exhibitions, participates in group exhibitions and video festivals, and creates audiovisual live performances in collaboration with musicians. Alisa's works have been widely presented both in Finland and internationally at festivals and galleries.
