Ebba Sofie Olsson (b.2000, Stockholm, Sweden) is currently based in between Stockholm and Vienna. She will receive an MFA from the fine arts academy, Vienna in 2027.

Her method of working includes found pieces of leather, textiles, lacquer, acrylics and other water based mediums. Her main interest lies within the alchemy and suspense of mediums, she often experiences comfort in the uncertainty, in not knowing what the reaction will be. The artist usually leaves her working space at night, and as she returns in the morning new formations has taken place. The arrangement, a kind of anatomical architecture is constantly being moved around. She strives to create an elegant brutality, which aims to defy our formal perceptions on painting.

Recent exhibitions took place at Circolo Mostra D’ert, Ortisei Italy, as well as Flat Gallery, Bratislava Slovakia.
