Emma Thomas (b. 1994) is a Finnish-American artist and illustrator based in Helsinki. Working across painting, drawing, and textile mediums, she creates imagery that lives at the intersection of fantasy and memory. Mythology, mystery, and the soft haze of recollection intertwine throughout her work, creating imagined worlds where playfulness coexists with darker emotional currents.

Emma graduated from Kankaanpää School of Fine Arts (SAMK) with a BA in 2019, and she has since held four solo exhibitions and participated in multiple group shows in Finland and abroad. She has developed a distinctive visual language that carries seamlessly across mediums, allowing her subjects and motifs to inhabit multiple layers of the same universe.
