Erin Juntunen (b. 2000) is a self-taught artist and a bachelor of fashion based in Helsinki.

Juntunen is currently mainly working with acrylic painting, exploring a wide variety of subjects with inspiration drawn from modern world phenomena to just simply studying everyday objects and textures. Juntunen enjoys experimenting with contrasts, in both, color palettes and subjects of reference.

For now, the main focus is on painting still lifes and portraits with some kind of an unique 'twist'. Often the artworks have a slight, kind of a hidden darker quality to them, which brings more layers to the interpretations of it.

The painting process is often started with only a vision, no sketching needed. It's fast-paced and the process takes turns based on how the artist is feeling on a certain working day.
