Sautina (RU/FI)
Lyuba Sautina is an interdisciplinary artist from Novosibirsk, currently living and working in Espoo, Finland. She graduated from the Free Workshops School at the Moscow Museum of Modern Art (MMOMA) and developed professional expertise in Lunéville embroidery, goldwork, and pearl embroidery techniques. In her artistic practice, Sautina explores concepts of motherhood and childhood. She is interested in the expression of human identity through cultural codes, as well as in the potential for transforming established practices and integrating them into a contemporary context. She has been a resident of the Winzavod Open Studios, a participant in PeARL (Performance Artistic Research Lab), and a finalist in the Competition for Young Artists’ Projects NOVA ART 8 (2021). In 2026, held two solo exhibitions at Loisti Gallery and Glob Art Point.
