Peetu Liesinen graduated with a Master of Arts in 2020 from Helsinki Academy of fine arts. Liesinen also studied at the Universität der Künst in Berlin, under the guidance of Prof. Thomas Zipp. Liesinen is a painter who draws, photographs and uses collage in his works. Liesinen's work has been exhibited, for example, in Kiasma, Galleria Halmetoja, SIC Galleria, Galleria Huudo, at the Mänttä Art Weeks, Lappeenranta Art Museum, Vantaa Art Museum and abroad in Stockholm, Frankfurt, London and Berlin.

Liesinen's works are in the Kiasma collections, the State collections, the Saastamoinen Foundation collections, the Wihuri collection and several private collections. Liesinen represented by Galleria Halmetoja.

Liesinen lives and works in Fiskars.
