Petriina
Kiiskinen (FI)
Petriina Kiiskinen (b. 1999) is a Finland-based artist who works primarily with sculpture and installation. Her practice is based on an intuitive, hands-on approach with diverse materials and sites. She is particularly interested in the memory of material and the industrial uncanny. Her works often explore tensions that arise when the internal logic of materials intersects with the constructs of human culture.
Kiiskinen has held four solo exhibitions and taken part in numerous group exhibitions. She has also collaborated on public art projects in Finland and internationally. She graduated as a visual artist from the Arts Academy of Turku University of Applied Sciences in spring 2025. During her studies she completed exchange studies at the Department of Sculpture at Royal Academy of Fine Arts Antwerp and worked as a gallery intern in Berlin. Earlier, she studied at Liminka Art School.
