Svante Gullichsen b.1994 is a Helsinki-based artist whose work focuses on mental health related self portraits with strong Nordic and mystical atmospheres. At the very core of Gullichsen’s work is processing and commenting mental health issues, finding one's place while growing queer, the relation between human and nature as well as the fundamental relation between darkness and light. Gullichsen’s works have been exhibited internationally receiving loads of positive attention and great media coverage. His works can be found in the Finnish state art collection, Institute Finlandais's art collection and various private collections.
