Toivo Heinimäki is a Helsinki-born & based visual artist specializing in photography, printmaking & small publishing. His work has been shown in group exhibitions at venues including Kunsthalle Helsinki, Gamle Munch Kunsthalle in Oslo, and the Sputnik Garden in Sillamäe. In Finland, his work has been presented in solo exhibitions at Hippolyte Korjaamo in Helsinki and Photo North Gallery in Oulu, among others.

Alongside his artistic practice, he runs Utu Press, a small publishing imprint, and co-organizes Utopias Lahti, a multidisciplinary artist-run festival in Lahti.
