Auringonkukka (Kukkineet), engl. Sunflower (Withered). Part of the series "My Only Garden Thus Far". I've been working on the series since 2023. "My Only Garden Thus Far" started off from the themes of passing and letting go, and consists of paintings and monotype prints. The works depict fragments of plants and vegetation, vaguely based on a garden very dear to me.
The painting has been on display at Galleria Rajatila in 2025. Oil on canvas, signed and ready to hang. Finished with a semi-glossy varnish.
