Dreamsport was a part of Järnefelt’s solo exhibition ‘Anatomy of a Satellite’ at Galleria Loisti in 2025. Combining found objects, affective textile surfaces, stitching and text, Dreamsport explores the crossroads of on the one hand symbolism and familiarity, and on the other, decontextualization and ambiguity. Dreams follow patterns of implicit association, creating perfect-seeming dramaturgy that still might be difficult to structurally understand afterwards; yet, they seem to succeed in framing a contemplation that a thought-out-narrative often could not.
