Svåra skogen

I am interested in the inner world of people's minds. I interpret it as a landscape in this painting. After analyzing this work, I have wondered if this forest depicts the labyrinth of thoughts that we humans navigate internally. Does the work function as a visual representation of thoughts, experiences, fears, dreams and more. The collage-like forest painting is built from a dreamy background, to which I have added figures and elements. The characters are born from photo references, spontaneously from the imagination, or from the shapes of the paint itself. The end result is a multidimensional forest landscape that tries to find balance in its chaos. The work has been exhibited in the master degree show Kuvan Kevät 2023.
