I was painting at a small lake in Kankaanpää, and this little sympathetic boat on the beach got my attention. I think lifeboats are important to have on swimming beaches. I'm also fascinated by the Finnish word for life boat -pelastusvene- which could be literally translated into Salvation Boat. But yeah, Life Boat sounds great as well.

Painted live at the beach, so may contain small amounts of sand etc.:)

Oil on mdf panel. Primed with traditional gelatin-chalk-primer.
