This is a gay little rabbit against fascist, homophobic misogynists!
Queering through space and time, the rabbit creates a woven rabbit hole, protecting fellow queers. White Rabbit is inspired by Lewis Caroll’s wonderland being described as a form of heterotopia - or othered space. It was made alongside a smaller piece called Red Pill which is inspired by The Matrix’s red pill.
The use of electrical cabling to to reuse something deemed broken. Applied to the red pill and white rabbit, these symbols are reclaimed from their use in incel and alt-right groups. Reclaiming the red pill is intended to refocus to the origin material and its creators. Calling attention to othered spaces inhabited by queer folk.
