Wilma Ylinen (b. 1999) works mainly with oil paints, oil pastels and acrylics, finding subjects from her own life, feelings and thoughts: in each artwork there is a piece of her as well. For Ylinen, painting is self-examination. When she paints, she gets in touch with the creativity that is somewhere deep inside her, where she feels good and where she only acts as a channel for what wants to be created through her. Ylinen is currently studying fine arts at LAB Institute of Design and Fine Arts.
