I painted this self-portrait when I just couldn't get enough of ultramarine blue and I was painting a lot of blue paintings. The color represents my feelings at the time: it's a strong but also a peaceful and even a little sad color.

This work has been on display at Blossom point -gallery as a part of Kuvia minusta/Pictures of me -exhibition (1/2025).
