The piece features four polymer clay reliefs molded directly to an upcycled picture frame. Each of the reliefs represent a happy childhood memory in nature: picking apples, laying under the sun, climbing trees and investigating nature with child-like wonder. The piece contemplates nostalgia related to fading memories and ecological grief caused by climate change. It was exhibited in my solo "Memories of windless days" in galleries Toinen Silmä and Kalleria in 2025.
Please note that the piece does not have a wire for hanging but can be placed on the wall using the hole in the middle of the picture frame.
