When signs of disorder like broken windows, or graffiti appear usually brings bigger types of disorder.

These fake windows started appearing in Sweden when the window tax was implemented. The idea that the wealthier could afford more windows, therefor could afford more taxes. This impacted the amount of windows planned into building designs. To fight empty walls this “Blindfönster” solution came to life. A purely aesthetic add-on.
