In the image, light filters through dense vegetation. The paired works Camouflage 1 and Camouflage 2 were exhibited in the exhibition “Kaikukammio – Echo Chamber” at Galleria Katriina. They are part of a larger body of work in which, by placing the pieces side by side, I sought to capture the interruption that exists between moments in the flow of perception. Layers of color printed on Japanese paper have been attached with beeswax to an intaglio print.
