The art work is unique and part of the Penitential exercise series.This artwork is made using black intaglio ink. I made this by sanding the black color off the paper with sandpaper.
The art works from Penitential exercises series, made by removing or adding intaglio ink with various intuitive actions. The actions have required time and numerous repetitions. That is why the works resemble penitential exercises.

*Intaglio ink is oil-based, so in different lighting conditions, bluish tones can be seen in the black color.
