The artwork is unique and part of the Penitential exercise series.This artwork is made using red intaglio ink. I have done this by applying intaglio ink directly onto the paper with a copper plate. I have removed some of the intaglio ink with an eraser.
The art works from Penitential exercises series, made by removing or adding intaglio ink with various intuitive actions. The actions have required time and numerous repetitions. That is why the works resemble penitential exercises.
