Mediator II' is part of series of three drawings titled 'Mediator'. The series was on display at group exhibition 'Camping Site' Jun 12th - Sep 4th, 2022, at Art House Brander, Mänttä, Finland.
About the theme:
- 'Mediator' series depicts the Arctic loon, which is one of the central figures in Finnish mythology. The loon can travel between different realms and deliver messages to both the world below and the world above.
The works contemplate the concepts of intuition, symbolism and atavism. They also try to touch the muddles and the apparent limits of our human-centered worldview. -
