Drawing on his lived experience between Brazil and Finland, Pires constructs a symbolic visual language that fuses imagined fauna, human figures, landscapes, and iconic objects drawn from the popular cultures of both nations. His work was featured in the exhibition “Syncretism” at Loisti Gallery (2024) and “Arete” at Saltbodan Gallery (2025).
