A small ceramic sculpture of a candle shaped figure. This work contemplates pilgrimage and the inner journey through a lens of gentle humor and quiet empathy. The sculpture, a small anthropomorphic candle figure, moves against the wind, or perhaps against the weight of circumstance. It is meant to stir a sense of compassion in the viewer, inviting a moment of introspection and tender recognition. The sculpture has beeswax coating. This piece was part of Maatamo exhibition in 2025. The detachable flame is made of polymer clay and iron wire.
