A small ceramic sculpture of a candle shaped figure. This work contemplates pilgrimage and the inner journey through gentle humor and quiet empathy. At its heart is a small anthropomorphic candle figure, trembling at the knees, as if from fear. It invites the viewer into a space of compassion and self-reflection, where vulnerability becomes a quiet kind of courage. The sculpture has beeswax coating.
This piece was part of Maatamo exhibition in 2025. The detachable flame is made of polymer clay and iron wire.
